Taylor + Kevin | A Bold, Colorful Wedding at Double Clutch Brewery in Evanston

A High-Energy Wedding in a One-of-a-Kind Evanston Venue

Taylor and Kevin’s wedding at Double Clutch Brewery in Evanston was a celebration defined by color, personality, and pure joy. Known for its collection of vintage cars, glowing neon signage, and industrial-meets-modern design, the space offered a truly unique backdrop—one that invited bold choices and creative expression.

Rather than compete with the venue’s energy, the floral design leaned all the way in. Bright, punchy blooms, sculptural shapes, and playful color-blocking transformed the space into something that felt immersive, artistic, and completely unforgettable.

The Bride’s Overflowing Rainbow Bouquet

Taylor carried a lush, hand-tied bridal bouquet that fully embraced color. Designed in a gathered, organic shape, the bouquet featured coral and peach garden roses, seasonal red dahlias, ranunculus, lisianthus, and poppies layered with more unexpected, sculptural elements.

Clematis, and craspedia added contrast and dimension, giving the bouquet a bold, funky edge. Accents of blue delphinium and lavender campenula softened the palette, creating spaces for the eye to rest amidst the color.

The result was a bouquet that felt expressive, larger-than-life, and completely in tune with the energy of the day.

The Groom’s Vibrant Pocket Square

Kevin was distinguished with a floral-forward pocket square featuring petite blooms and wildflower accents—an unexpected, botanical detail that added personality and versatility throughout the day. Inspired by Taylor’s bouquet, it made his black suit pop in photos!

A Playful and Personalized Wedding Party

The maid of honor carried a more petite interpretation of Taylor’s bouquet, designed with a curated selection of blooms from the same palette for a cohesive yet individualized feel.

Boutonnieres for the wedding party followed an eclectic approach, each featuring a singular statement bloom pulled from the overall palette. This created a look that felt cohesive without being overly uniform.

Both mothers wore contemporary ribbon-tied corsages adorned with petite blooms and greenery—modern, wearable, and beautifully aligned with the overall floral story.

A Colorful Ceremony Arch

For the ceremony, a floral arch served as a bold focal point, designed with a dense and diverse mix of blooms arranged in scattered rainbow colors. Set against the industrial backdrop of Double Clutch, the arch created a striking contrast—soft, vibrant florals layered against metal, neon, and vintage textures.

A Picnic-Style Tablescape with a Twist

The reception embraced a playful, color-blocked approach across the brewery’s communal picnic tables. Each table was designed as its own moment—fully immersed in a single color story.

One table leaned into lavender tones, another into coral, another peach, and another blue. Matching taper candles reinforced each palette, while three bud vases per table held eclectic, statement blooms that felt sculptural and spontaneous.

The effect was bold and graphic yet effortlessly fun—like a series of living color studies scattered throughout the space.

Florals That Matched the Energy of the Room

Surrounded by vintage cars, glowing neon signs, and the hum of celebration, the florals didn’t try to soften the space—they amplified it. Bright blooms, unexpected textures, and dynamic arrangements created a layered environment that felt immersive and alive.

Every detail—from the oversized bouquet to the color-blocked tables—reflected a couple who wasn’t afraid to embrace color, personality, and joy in a big way.

A Wedding That Was Unapologetically Bright, Bold, and Fun

Taylor and Kevin’s wedding was a reminder that the most memorable celebrations are the ones that feel true to the couple. Bold, colorful, and full of movement, their day was less about tradition and more about experience—creating a space where guests could feel the energy from the moment they walked in.

The Saville Team had so much fun bringing this vibrant vision to life—designing florals that felt playful, lush, and joyful.
