Robyn + Laith | An Elegant Bohemian Wedding at Chicago Winery

Venue: Chicago Winery
Photographer: Noelle Thies Co.

A Romantic, Flower-Filled Celebration in Chicago

Robyn and Laith’s June wedding at Chicago Winery was a study in contrast—lush, romantic florals set against a sleek, contemporary urban space. Known for its skylights, clean lines, and modern architecture, Chicago Winery provided the perfect canvas for a floral design that felt elegant, bohemian, and multi-layered.

Robyn’s love of flowers was at the heart of the day’s design. From the ceremony to the reception, guests were immersed in a rich, textural floral experience that felt warm, intentional, and undeniably special—proof that thoughtful florals can completely transform a modern venue.

An Elegant Bohemian Floral Palette

The floral palette blended dusty pinks, soft peaches, muted champagne tones, terra cotta accents, and olive greens for a look that felt romantic yet grounded. Brighter white blooms—peonies, hydrangea, and majolica spray roses—were layered throughout to maintain a classic bridal feel while allowing the earthier hues to shine.

Garden roses, lisianthus, ranunculus, sweet peas, delphinium, and allium added movement, softness, and variety, creating a floral story that felt organic, collected, and beautifully curated.

The Bride’s Lush, Hand-Tied Bouquet

Robyn carried a signature Saville Flowers hand-tied bridal bouquet designed to feel abundant and garden-gathered. Luxe coral charm peonies anchored the design, surrounded by delicate garden roses, ranunculus, and lisianthus for romantic fullness.

Earth-toned accents like dahlias, sweet peas, and butterfly ranunculus introduced movement and bounce, giving the bouquet a loose, organic shape. Floral-forward yet undeniably bridal, the bouquet felt contemporary and artistic while remaining soft and timeless.

Softly Coordinated Bridesmaid Florals

Bridesmaids carried petite, rounded interpretations of Robyn’s bouquet, arranged in layered neutrals of ivory, champagne, and dusty pink. Subtle accents tied back into their dress colors, creating a cohesive look that felt refined but relaxed.

Each bouquet featured the same floral recipe as the bride’s, artfully arranged for a laid-back, designer feel that complemented the overall bohemian aesthetic.

Botanical Groom & Wedding Party Details

Laith was distinguished with a floral-forward pocket square featuring two to three petite statement blooms from the bridal palette, accented with wildflower textures and layered greenery. The result was a modern, botanical detail that echoed Robyn’s lush bouquet while offering versatility for portraits.

Groomsmen wore eclectic boutonnieres composed of singular statement blooms paired with coordinating greenery and finished with raw silk ribbon—an elegant, textural detail that added cohesion across the wedding party.

A Showstopping Floral Ceiling Installation

One of the most striking elements of the day was the custom floral installation suspended beneath the skylight. Trailing smilax greenery and delicate mixed ferns were woven through the crossbeams, while large-headed blooms in white, pink, and orange—including sculptural anthurium—were suspended at the corners of the crossbeams.

The installation added movement, color, and drama overhead, transforming the space into something immersive and transportive while still feeling modern and elevated.

A Lush, Bohemian Ceremony at Chicago Winery

The ceremony space was defined by mixed greenery and flower pillars flanking the winery’s center arches, creating an ethereal, bohemian frame beneath the skylights. Seasonal flowering viburnum and spirea were layered with ferns, springeri, and variegated ivy for a look that felt light, airy, and romantic without overwhelming the architecture. Large-headed peonies, spray roses, and dahlias offered gorgeous pops of color to say “I do!” alongside.

A Warm, Layered Reception Tablescape

The reception tables featured a thoughtfully layered mix of candlelight and florals, designed to complement the family-style table layout. Each table included staggered floating candles, dark olive, dusty lavender, and mustard taper candles, and eclectic ceramic bud vases filled with taller mixed blooms.

The varied heights, tones, and textures created a collected, designer look that felt intimate and inviting—perfectly suited to the bohemian elegance of the day.

Sweetheart Table & Finishing Touches

Behind the sweetheart table, the winery’s broken arch became a romantic focal point, accented with candlelight for an effortless photo moment. Floating candles and votives anchored the space, adding warmth and glow throughout the room.

Additional bud vases highlighted cocktail tables, the place card display, and welcome areas, while the cake was finished with coordinating clusters of florals and blooming greenery. Floating candles and scattered greenery along the staircase landing completed the look, ensuring every corner of the venue felt intentional and beautifully styled.

A Floral-Filled Celebration to Remember

Robyn and Laith’s wedding was a celebration of romance, artistry, and thoughtful design. By layering lush florals, elegant greenery, and warm candlelight throughout Chicago Winery, their day felt immersive, elevated, and full of heart.

Saville Flowers was honored to bring this elegant bohemian vision to life—creating a wedding that felt modern yet romantic, abundant yet refined, and unforgettable from start to finish.
