Kailey + Zach

Kailey and Zach were the epitome of SUNSHINE! It’s only fitting that their special day would be sun-kissed and full of big smiles and belly laughs! What a fun, fun couple and the vendor team was just as spectacular! Kerri Carlquist, an incredible Chicago based photographer, kept them in good spirits and perfectly captured their vivacious energy—and gorgeous florals! ;) Their palette was a soft pastel mix with butterfly ranunculus, champagne ranunculus, garden roses, softshell-pink lisianthus, and it just HAD to have the most incredible cascading Phalaenopsis orchids! The floral forward bridal palette stunned Kailey and her pals, transforming even the smallest moments into truly magical ones. The arch was a playful mix of pampas, light purple delphinium, and GORGEOUS garden roses GALORE, it was truly shimmering in the sunlight. <3

The reception room of the Ravenswood Event Center is dramatic down to the last detail, from the neon lighting and the expansive space, to the retro car props; it was a delight to lean into the unique space. The couple decorated the environment with three different “looks”— asymmetrical arrangements on modern gold stands which helped to fill the room’s high ceilings, elegant compote centerpieces, and mixed bud vases complimented by glass cylinder floating candles—using a variety of looks helps to create added interest in such a large space.

Don’t waste your beautiful flowers and be sure to maximize your budget! — The couple chose to repurpose their arch flowers to mask industrial poles near the sweetheart table, and flipped the bridal bouquet and aisle flowers into a spectacular and dramatic sweetheart table accent. They finished their look with playful cake flowers in-keeping with their lighthearted whimsical palette. A wedding for the books!
