Anna + Dorin
Anna and Dorin said I do on a gorgeous September day! Hosted at the ultra-chic RPM Events in downtown Chicago, this wedding was a dramatic and moody twist on modern elegance. From the very beginning, Anna had a crystal-clear vision: all white florals, layered and sculptural, with just the right balance of softness and edge. And let’s just say... together we absolutely nailed it.
On the way to the ceremony, guests were greeted with a dramatic pathway of floating candles lining the hallway, creating a warm, flickering glow that felt straight out of a dream. These candles didn’t just set the mood; they also served as the most stunning backdrop for Anna’s bridal portraits. See for yourself pictured below: soft candlelight bouncing off her gown and florals so gorgeous—WE JUST CAN’T.
Anna’s bouquet was a modern statement piece—no fuss, no filler. Just an artful blend of creamy roses, white phalaenopsis orchids, and bleached dried elements like palm fronds and ruscus for texture. Every stem was intentional, every bloom carefully chosen. We wanted it to feel like a piece of modern art—and it did.
Inside the reception space, we went BIG. Suspended above the dance floor were custom hanging installations featuring layers of bleached amaranthus cascading like waterfalls, with white orchids and dried textures woven in for depth. The effect was dramatic, elegant, and completely unforgettable. These pieces gave the room an ethereal, floating feeling—like floral clouds hanging over the celebration.
The tablescape design followed suit, keeping everything clean and modern with layered whites and creams, sculptural compotes, and of course, more candlelight. The room like the couple were absolutely glowing. Each detail reflected Anna and Dorin's style: bold, refined, and beautifully unexpected.
If you are trying to decide if a white wedding is right for you, just remember there is more than one way to pull it off. You can still put yourself in the florals through, shape, texture, and design. <3
