Enchanting Spellbound Soirée at The Library 190 | WIPA Chicago Event Florals
Spellbound Soirée at The Library 190 — Chicago Event Florals
We were honored when the Wedding International Professionals Association (WIPA) of Chicago asked us to design the florals for their big industry soirée! The theme, “Spellbound,” was pure magic from golden hour through dusk. Guests enjoyed tarot predictions, dangerously delicious treats, inspiring speakers, and stunning cocktail creations. The Library 190, with its rich woodwork, soaring windows, and dramatic wall of books, set the perfect scene for an unforgettable evening.
A Chic Mono-Botanical Floral Design
Monobotanicals (aka “one flower type” arrangements) are having a major moment—and for good reason. Using one statement flower in abundance creates instant impact and editorial sophistication. For the soirée, we chose a monobotanical look to anchor the space with soft purple clouds of allium. These airy blooms added movement and depth to the stage pieces and larger statement arrangements, giving the room a modern, elevated feel.
Statement Blooms for an Editorial Look
To complement the allium, our modern white bud vases were filled with a moody, vibrant mix of black tulips, fiery orange ranunculus, deep purple sweet peas, and fragrant purple hyacinths. The combination created a layered color story—bold yet refined—perfect for an evening that celebrated creativity and artistry in our industry.
Celebrating with Chicago’s Top Wedding Professionals
Designing for peers in the wedding and events industry is always a special honor. This night was about more than just beautiful flowers—it was about connection, collaboration, and celebrating what we do best. Mark and the Saville Flowers team are committed to growing strong vendor relationships, knowing that when our industry partnerships thrive, our couples’ experiences are elevated too.
